My Approach

Legal advice is most valuable when it protects a business while helping it move forward.

Meaningful legal advice begins with understanding each client's business, goals, priorities, and risk tolerance. Legal questions are often intertwined with financial realities, reputational concerns, and the practical demands facing leadership. My role is not simply to identify legal risk, but to help clients understand their options, make informed decisions, and achieve their business objectives.

Having spent much of my career as in-house counsel, I understand that business leaders need more than technically correct answers. They need advice that is practical and commercially grounded. I approach every matter with an understanding of the competing demands business leaders face, and the judgment required to balance legal risk with business priorities. I communicate directly, explain the reasoning behind my recommendations, and work collaboratively with clients to develop legal strategies that support their long-term success.

My goal is to serve as a trusted legal partner: someone clients can rely on as they navigate challenges, seize opportunities, and make important business decisions.
